Review of Ward C24 (inpatient)
27th May 2024

Most of the staff were friendly helpful kind and patient. There was a specific nurse on the night staff team who made me feel like I was a hindrance and that it was too much trouble too look after me, she [name removed] spoke I always said please thank you, asked in the nicest way I could but [name removed] got 2 words back, woke me up abruptly when I was asleep to take my obvs meds, ignored my buzzer and generally made me feel worthless and in more a a state than I already was. She was loud kept turning lights on and was cagey about answering questions to do with my personal care and health and also my canular came out and she took it off my and walked away no bandage no compress nothing and sat at the desk in the main area, it took after asking several time nearly 3hrs for someone to come and do it; I understand staff are busy but also after tell her several times the size I need as it’s leats the same due to veins she still bought the wrong size and in the end I had to get someone else to do it

Suggested improvements
